Kenneth Walsh


Kenneth Walsh BA(Econ) MA, FRSA, is a labour economist with over 25 years experience of research and consultancy in the fields of employment, labour markets, learning and skills. He has previously worked at the Institute for Employment Studies (where he remains an Associate Fellow), and ECOTEC Research & Consulting Ltd. He currently also holds posts as Executive Associate, HOST Policy Research and Research Associate at the UK Commission for Employment and Skills. His background is in applied research with leading organisations in the field in the UK and abroad. He specialises in Policy Evaluation, Labour Market Information and Analysis, and European Labour Market Policy. He works ar the international, national and local levels.


TERN maintains a network of expert associates in the UK, European Union and in other countries who can be involved in projects as appropriate to requirements of the work, their particular skills and availability. For more information please get in touch.

A short history of TERN

TERN was established in 1992 and is based in the West Midlands region of the United Kingdom though with a portfolio of work that stretches throughout the UK and abroad.
